Ronny Thuner Pipes
I've only seen Ronny Thuner pipes offered on Frenchy's Pipes.com
http://www.frenchyspipes.com/index.php?crn=219 I don't know why this should be, maybe Ronny doesn't carve many pipes, maybe his skills are not yet widely appreciated.
What I can tell you from personal experience is that Ronny delivers a great pipe for a little price! Mine is a stunning (an I'm not exaggerating) little freehand. The graining is incredibly tight, almost hair-like straight grain dominating the bowl ending in unfinished plateau. The drilling and machining of mortise and tenon are skillfully rendered, the hand cut stem while large is very comfortable. The staining is a two-tone variety, lending the pipe a very 'deep' smooth finish.

Ronny's pipes seem to have been popular on Frenchy's site, most of them have sold and Frenchy hasn't had any new listings in quite some time. Everyone I've talked to who owns one says the same thing, a very fine pipe for the money and would gladly purchase another.
I hope that Ronny continues to produce pipes.
