We are very glad y'all are here (I'm sure my esteemed colleague from the UK would say it differently ) We need some input from you. I've devoted as many hours to site building and getting the basic structure in place as my schedule allows. I'll be adding more as time permits. Dunhill Silver Banded Classic Series Shell Briar 3 S 554 11131 what ever in the heck all those numbers mean and Dunhill is printed in an oval.

In 1911, the four brothers, Federico, Carlo, Cornelio and Francesco Rovera created the Rovera line of pipes. Angelo Rovera, Federico's son, and his son Dorelio began working together in the late 1950's and eventually combined their initials - AR(Angelo Rovera) + DOR(Dorelio Rovera) to create the ARDOR name. Together they combined years of talent and experience in crafting handmade (fatta a mano) pipes. I can tell you that the little 'Antique' finished (see article) Canadian pipe is a delicate and fine smoking instrument. The 'Antique' finish almost defies description. It is fine, almost hair-like super-imposed over deeper more traditional rustication. From a distance the piece almost looks sand blasted, yet on closer inspection you quickly ...

Luigi Viprati pipes are fine smoking instruments, I own two both lower grades. They are some of my 'most reached for' pipes!

I became interested in looking longingly at his 'Clover pieces' pictured on many a web store several years ago. These were some truly stunning pieces from all I could gather. Every site I'd visit that offered Viprati pipes got a long visit from me, just looking and longing. Finally, a site listed an estate Canadian and I pulled the trigger.

I own a wonderful pipe by Johan Slabbert the creator and crafter of Jobert pipes. It is a large 1/8 bent Dublin crafted of Wild Olive wood. While a bit heavy for clenching it has been a marvelous smoker from the very first bowl. The shape execution is very nice, while not quite 'traditional' Johan has his own unique interpretation of traditional shapes. The craftsmanship, drilling and fit are all precise. This finish is natural, and no attempt has been made to mask or cover any imperfections ...

Well I think most pipe smokers have tried it at one time or another to varying degrees. Maybe you took it a step or two beyond that and blended several blends together and let them stew for a couple of weeks eagerly awaiting the results. Aroma: This mixture has a deep sweet aroma very enticing. Immediately one smells a deep hay-like quality, freshly mown hay, slowly drying in the summer sun. Deep, sharp and earthy. Carmel tones and nuts are evident, as in grandma's molasseses. There ...

Hello fellow members,

You may have noticed some changes since your last visit. We are trying to build a forum where more than the average banter can be found, a site of use for Pipe and Tobacco enthusiasts to enjoy.

Gandalff and myself are trying to provide a useful resource to all members. We welcome your suggestions on how to better achieve that goal:

IE if you see something you'd like to have added, please e-mail us, or post a 'new topic' in the "General Discussion" ...

Hi everyone,

Occasionally, I find myself with mystery tobacco. Maybe I find an unlabeled baggy from a while back and can't remember what it is. Maybe a bag is gifted to me. Most of the time, they aren't to my liking, which is why they were forgotten about in the first place.

I usually try these tobaccos that don't do anything for me in a blend with something else. I have an aromatic jar of lots of different aromatic tobaccos that I've collected and haven't really enjoyed. So I stuck ...

I don't know if any of you have noticed, my fault for not pointing this out earlier. But if you go into the portal, you will see the chatroom at the bottom of the page, I have placed the clock just above it to the right, (so you can keep an eye on the time lol)

Another little "gadget" I introduced is on the right hand side, just above the clock.

Where it says "Who is online" It shows who is on line obviously, but if you click on "View the whole list" it brings ...

Hello Gandalff and other members,

I know, it sounds like a rhetorical question. I wondered if it were going to be an "open forum free for all" such as ASP on usernet or if it were going to be more "structured" like other forums, with topic areas and the like.

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to exactly what one is referring too when one mentions "ASP" anyway. Some think it's a "website" that they respond too using "google groups", ...

The online Clock

This may sound a daft question, but I was thinking about the site clock, does it show you your time where you are, or is it just telling the time in the UK (BST) I have programmed it to display the time in the members time zone, but without actually going to the "States" for example, I can't really tell. Lol
cheers
