Peter Brakner Pipes
Admittedly, I don't know very much about Peter Brakner, what little I can determine I found here:

I can tell you that the little 'Antique' finished (see article) Canadian pipe is a delicate and fine smoking instrument. The 'Antique' finish almost defies description. It is fine, almost hair-like super-imposed over deeper more traditional rustication. From a distance the piece almost looks sand blasted, yet on closer inspection you quickly realize that it's rusticated.
The pipe itself is small (about a Dunhill group 2/3) and decidedly a 'Danish' interpretation of the Canadian shape, delicately rendered though perfect in proportions.
Brakner pipes are hard to find these days, though they can be found. This site offers a few estates and some nice pictures which may give you a better idea of his unique 'Antique' rustication.
